  • What is the Download Basket?
The Download Basket allows you select trial products to download from each product page and then download them all at the same time when you conclude your visit to the Nexal web site.  Each time you select a product to download that request is saved for later use.

  • How do I add files to the basket?
Each product page that has an available trial product for download has an Add to Basket button that looks like this.  Just click on  this button to add the trial product to your download list!  The Add to Basket button will change to Added to Basket  with a diskette in the basket to indicate that the trial product is now in your download basket.  It is ready for you to download at the completion of your session on the Nexal web site.

  • Can I remove a file from my basket?
If you change your mind or choose the wrong product or version, you can simply ignore that product when the time comes to download from the list of products in your download basket.

  • How do I download files from my basket?
When you are ready to "check out" and download your files, just choose the "Download Now!" button on the left-hand product menu.  You will need to fill in some information about yourself (we keep all information confidential — check our Privacy Policy on the Legal Notices page if you have questions).   Once you have completed the form, a list of the trial products in your download basket will be displayed.  Just click on first product to download and when it is complete, click on the next product, and so on.  If you changed your mind and did not want to download a specific product, simply ignore that product in the list.  Note:   If you are using the ZipMagic™ browser plug-in, hold down the SHIFT key when you click.

  • Will the basket work with my browser?
This download system has been tested with and will work with Netscape Navigator 3.x and above, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x and above, and Opera 3.x.  Your browser's options/preferences must be set to accept Cookies and have JavaScript™ enabled.   This is the default setting for most browsers.

  • What are these "cookie" things?
A "cookie" is a small file that a web server writes to your local hard drive to record information about your visit.  Nexal's download basket records the list of trial products you want to download in a cookie located in your temp directory.  When it is time to check out, the Nexal web server will read the contents of the cookie so it can display a list of products you want to try out.  The cookie will expire and be automatically deleted by your browser at the end of your browser session or within 24 hours.

  • Who else can see my basket?
No one can see your basket.  The basket is actually located on your personal computer.

  • What do I do once I download the trial products?
When downloading, save the files to a temporary directory.  Most of the products are downloaded as a zip file which contains a complete evaluation kit, including 30-day trial product, documentation, and license files if required.  Use an unzip program to extract the files from the zip file.  Open up the documentation using Adobe Acrobat Reader and print it out.  Read the documentation thoroughly and then just run the setup program!

  • What do you do with the personal information I provide in order to download the trial products?
Read Nexal Corporation's Privacy Policy for a complete description of our obligations to protect your privacy and what we can and cannot do with the information you provide us.
