About Nexal Corporation

Based in Issaquah, Washington, Nexal Corporation develops and supports software products to help people organize information logically and naturally.

Founded in 1984 as an information systems consulting firm, Nexal began software development in 1986 with NexLaw, a powerful file management software system for legal documents. 1989 saw the release of the Amicus Law Office Management System and other legal-specific software applications.

In 1995, Nexal released NexLaw™ for WordPerfect® for Windows followed by NexCard™, the Universal Address Book, in 1996.

In 1997, Nexal licensed a version of NexCard to Corel Corporation for inclusion in the WordPerfect Suite line of products.  Nexal also released SuiteCompanion™ for Corel® WordPerfect Suite 7 and NexCard for Workgroups, GroupWise® and Outlook® editions.

1998 saw the expansion of our product line-up with a NexCard SQL Enterprise version, NexCard PalmPilot™ conduit, NexCard Data Replication Services™ (NDRS™) and many more products.

In 1999 and 2000, Nexal rolled out a product line-up of Novell Directory Services® (NDS™)-enabled products including NexCard™ for NDS™, along with new releases of our current product line.  We're now working on our next-generation of XML-based products scheduled for release in 2001.
